JJ Technologies was born from a simple observation: education had the potential to change lives, but the tools weren't keeping up with the vision. We saw teachers drowning in administrative work when they should be inspiring students. We saw learners struggling with one-size-fits-all approaches when technology could personalize their journey. We saw talented educators confined by geography when the world needed their expertise.

So we decided to build something different. Not technology for technology's sake, but solutions grounded in real classroom experience and powered by genuine innovation. We're teachers who code and engineers who teach. We're dreamers who execute and builders who care deeply about impact.

Every product we create is born from asking: How can we make learning more personal? How can we give teachers their time back? How can we connect great education with those who need it most? Joe is a founding engineer with deep expertise in AI and technology who believes the best innovations are those that disappear into seamless experiences. He's spent years at the forefront of artificial intelligence, not building technology for its own sake, but crafting intelligent systems that genuinely understand and adapt to human needs. As our CTO, Joe transforms educational challenges into elegant technical solutions—whether it's algorithms that truly personalize learning, AI that saves teachers hours without losing the human touch, or platforms that connect continents as easily as classrooms. His approach is simple: technology should feel like magic but work like clockwork. Joe ensures that every line of code we write serves a student, supports a teacher, or opens a door that was previously closed.

James

Co-Founder & Education Lead

James brings the classroom to the code. With a background in Law and years of experience as a teacher, he understands the daily realities educators face. The late nights marking papers, the challenge of reaching every student, the frustration of administrative burden stealing time from what matters. His legal training gives him a unique lens on systems, structures, and fairness, ensuring every product we build serves all learners equitably. James doesn't just imagine better educational tools; he's lived the need for them. He's the voice asking "Will this actually help a teacher at 10pm on a Tuesday?" and the vision ensuring our technology amplifies human connection rather than replacing it.
